We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at Jetseal, an aerospace manufacturing company. This entry-level role is designed for individuals interested in developing a career in purchasing and supply chain management. The Junior Buyer supports procurement activities by assisting with supplier coordination, purchase order management, and material availability to ensure uninterrupted production operations. Procurement & Supply Chain Support * Assist in purchasing raw materials, hardware, components, and outside processing services from approved suppliers. * Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP/MRP system in accordance with company procedures. * Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. * Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, lead times, and supplier information. * Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and delivery priorities. * Monitor material availability and system signals to support reorder recommendations and prevent shortages. * Assist in resolving supplier discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, delivery, or quality in coordination with Quality and Supply Chain leadership. * Support cost tracking activities and assist with vendor performance evaluations. * Request and compile supplier quotes for materials and outside services.
