As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and customer service skills will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. By performing routine patrols and communicating with staff and visitors, you will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entrances and exits as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
