Registered Nurse Operating Room Bethesda MD Pay From: $48 Per Hour MUST One year of Operating Room experience 1+ year scrubbing in on and circulating on procedures Preparing patients for surgical procedures Positioning patients Licensed in Maryland as a Registered Nurse BLS, ACLS and PALS certification DUTIES: Duties of the Operating Room Registered Nurse include but are not limited to the following: prepare patients for surgical procedures Position patients Scrub in and circulate on procedures Supervise and direct patient care in the ambulatory operating room Perform the circulating role and functions as required Prepare operating/procedure room according to requirements and procedure Prepare equipment, supplies and instruments before start of procedures and positions and adjusts equipment as needed Organize nursing activities efficiently and effectively Support the total perioperative process Ensure that supply, drug, instrument and equipment inventories are maintained and available for procedures and surgeries Address patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the outpatient setting.
