Available Specialty Areas

We offer residency opportunities across multiple specialties:

  • Acute Care/Medical-Surgical
  • Critical Care
  • Emergency Services
  • Oncology
  • Perinatal (Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby)
  • Operating Room
  • Med/Psych

*Relevant clinical experience through nurse externships, senior practicums, or related work experience is required for specialized Units (Critical Care, Emergency Services, Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Operating Room, Med/Psych)

Are You Eligible?

We're looking for passionate new nurses who meet the following criteria:

Required:

  • Currently in your final semester of an accredited ASN,BSN, or MSN program OR within 12 months of RN license issuance at program start
  • Eligible to work in the United States for the entire one-year program duration
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Two letters of recommendation (from clinical instructor, clinical manager, professor, or employer)
  • Valid Georgia RN license (must pass NCLEX per Grady Health System requirements)

Important: Grady Health System does not currently offer work sponsorships for this program.

Cohort Start Information

This application's cohort start is scheduled for July and September2026. Please note that cohort start dates may vary based on the unit.
