Get to Know Your Team:

• Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group and Portneuf Air Rescue. PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care.

Provides and process communication support to Director/Manager. Assists in smooth patient flow throughout the facility by processing incoming calls via switchboard, alarms, two -way radio and emergency phones and paging systems as needed. Works on special projects as needed/requested. Provides EMR support to Staff. Assist all departments and public with day-to-day operations of communication.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivelant
• Current BLS certification within 90 days

Preferred Requirements:

• Medical terminology experience preferred
• Minimum of one year in a telecommunication setting preferred
