The Medical Information Specialist is responsible for meeting the medical information needs of external customers and internal business partners as it relates to the company's products. He/she will contribute to the development of high-quality Medical Information deliverables within the team and will be a visible member of the department by collaborating cross-functionally to meet Medical Affairs objectives.

Responsibilities:Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients/consumers, field staff and other internal business partners.

Monitor scientific literature for potential adverse event reports.Conduct detailed analyses of the scientific literature for use by Scientific Communications, Medical Affairs and other internal business partners.Contribute to communication, reporting and storage of literature findings.Contribute to developing and revising standard medical responses, AMCP dossiers, Q & A documents, and other medical information resources.Assist with medical accuracy review of assigned promotional and/or scientific exchange materials.Provide scientific support at Medical Information Booths for assigned medical conferences.Assist with and contribute to other Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs activities, training, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in pharmacy or related healthcare discipline (PharmD, PhD, etc.) or Biomedical training and education (RPh, RN, APN) with relevant experience.
  • Some knowledge of U.S. regulatory standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturers' communications and dissemination of medical information, clinical trial processes and drug approval processes.
  • Some prior experience in medical writing and development of scientific communication materials.
  • Demonstrated skills in maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:

The annual base salary range for the Medical Information Specialist is from :$78,100-$102,500 Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
