The Opportunity The Transportation Foreman plans, organizes and supervises the scheduling, repair and replacement of all university owned vehicles, and industrial lawn maintenance equipment. Properly diagnose mechanical problems as they arise. Supervise Transportation Department Personnel. Ensure that the entire fleet of university vehicles and lawn maintenance equipment are in a good state of repair at all times, within established budgetary limitations. In addition, this employee acts as Facilities Management's resource for environmental health and safety concerns, including safe storage, handling and disposal of chemicals and safety training on equipment by working with the University Safety Department.
