Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Certified MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Certified MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Location: Mercy Primary Care Clinic Hillsboro 5194 Jeremiah Road Hillsboro, MO 63050 Hours/Shift: Full-Time Days, Monday-Friday Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Education Preferred: Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant Program Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or medical office experience as defined by the clinic. Other: Coworkers can be hired as Certified Medical Assistant if they are certified or registered Coworkers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to Medical Assistant title.
