Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the development team and work with the administrative support team to prepare travel authorizations, reimbursements and other documents as needed for fundraising efforts. This position serves as the backup to the receptionist as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Applicants should be detail oriented with the ability to handle confidential matters. Related work experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Calendar management and knowledge of database management is preferred.
