Responsibilities

Imagine a day where you shape the future of new nuclear energy-setting vision, strengthening partnerships, and driving growth-while empowering a high-performing, multi-office engineering team to deliver impactful projects that advance clean, reliable energy.

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Establish the direction and vision to support your customers. Perform long range, growth for your team. Responsible for division revenue and gross margins
  • Business Development & Market Engagement: Responsible for the relationship with the existing Nuclear Plant Developers and Utilities pursuing New Nuclear. Lead the development of new business opportunities. Attend, participate and coordinate ENERCON's overall participation in industry conferences. Provide review and input to proposal strategies
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Ensure training and development for new hires, as well as continuing improvement for experienced engineers. Manage a team via your Engineering Manager and Lead Project Manager. Support the Engineering Manager and Lead Project Manager to build an engineering and project management team. The overall team will be located across multiple offices, both onsite and remotely #LI-SH7

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • PE license is preferred, PMP a plus
  • 10+ years of power plant siting and design as well as engineering support for construction, commissioning and startup including experience supporting nuclear power plant deployments
  • 5+ years' experience of supervising/managing engineering organizations and/or managing commercial nuclear client accounts
  • Experience with building engineering teams supporting construction, commissioning and startup of power plant facilities
  • Demonstrated strong experience in proposal development, strategic planning, presentation and negotiations
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 50% of the time

When salary range is listed it reflects typical compensation for this role based on level and location. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and education.
