FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Mon-Fri

Salary Range: Minimum $166,800.00 - Maximum $187,200.00

Working with our total join surgeon at both Auburn Medical Center and Covington Medical Center, time would be spent in both the OR and clinic.

Position Summary

The orthopedic surgical APP is a vital member of the surgical team. They collaborate with the patient, pertinent family members, and medical multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care. They play a critical role in perioperative management assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring comprehensive recovery.
The surgical orthopedic APP specializes in evaluating patients perioperatively and assisting with orthopedic surgeries, including, but not limited to, joint replacement, fracture fixations, and ligament repairs. They will also provide perioperative care such as wound management, arthrocentesis and joint injections, pain control, and rehabilitation oversight. They will perform bedside procedures, order and interpret diagnostic imaging, and educate patients on recovery strategies. Additionally, they will contribute to evidence-based practice by optimizing surgical efficiency, implementing enhanced recovery protocols, and supporting coordination of care.Responsibilities

*Intraoperative Assistance (Surgical 1st Assist)
*Postoperative Care Management
*Patient Education
*Evaluate and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal disorders and injuries
*Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and industry regulations
*On Call rotation with the provider group.
Requirements
*Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
*DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
*Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $166,800.00 - $187,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
