RN, Registered Nurse | Orthopedic Clinic

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking afull-timeRegistered Nurse for our Orthopedic Clinic, specifically with the Trauma Team subspecialty. This is your opportunity to work day shift in a position that provides great variety while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region.

What you will do:

• Fulfill 72 hours every two weeks = 0.9 FTE

• Work 8-hour day shifts between 0730-1630; no weekends, holidays, or call obligation

• Provide care at our La Crosse location, 2nd floor of the Main Clinic

• RNs in the Orthopedic Clinic perform phone triage and patient education, manage EPIC in-basket and MyChart messages, assist with pre-op and post-op appointments, perform wound care, suture removal, and more

• Collaborate with a team of 3 surgeons, 6 PAs, and a group of RNs and MAs who have a lot of longevity and love what they do!

• Provide cross-coverage for the other Orthopedic subspecialties, including the hand, pediatrics, shoulder, the total joint teams

What you need:

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing

• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
