FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: 10 hour shifts, Schedule: variable, may work any day of the week including weekends. Shifts could range to 10pm. Position Summary The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing technical non-invasive vascular procedures, assuring quality test results to assist physicians with the diagnosis of vascular disorders. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing vascular procedures. Work situations require vascular expertise, analysis, and the use of discretion and good judgement in decision making. The Vascular Imaging Technologist has knowledge and understanding of age related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. External contacts include patients, family members, and physicians. Internal contacts include nursing service staff and management.Requirements
