FTE: 0.5 Shift: Day Schedule: 2 days one week/3 days one week - 8am - 4:30pm

Position Summary

The Imaging Services Representative is an incredible opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for the receiving of patients into imaging, coordination, and/or facilitation of patients through their imaging experience. You will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities and attention to detail and work with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists patients, families, and healthcare providers in person and over the phone handling sensitive information with discretion and adherence with confidentiality standards.
  • Confirms and or updates imaging appointments and provides information regarding imaging procedures to ensure optimal utilization of imaging resources. May schedule or register patients, location specific
  • Obtains prior imaging and reports
  • Liaises with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth imaging services
  • May assist technologists in moving patients from carts and wheelchairs to x-ray tables, transports patient's intra-facility
  • May assist technologists during procedures, assisting in the positioning of a patient, cleaning room, stocking of supplies
  • Assists technologists in researching questions/concerns from physicians' offices, reviewing relevant information and documents
  • Provides administrative support such as data entry and managing correspondence

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or related certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role using computer systems and software, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly within radiology or imaging services preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.75 - $36.14 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
