LOCATION: Hybrid in Alsip, IL on average 1-2days/wk

COMP RANGE: $70,000 - 95,000/year

Griffith Foods is hiring a Sr. Pricing Analyst to develop and execute profitable pricing strategies and business proposals in alignment with our company Purpose and strategy through collaboration with senior leadership, sales, purchasing, product development, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams.

As a Sr. Pricing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial scenario models and proposing pricing options based on value-add, market, and competitive information to drive financial performance. Actively participates in financial forecasting and fiscal year budgeting process through effective collaboration and communication with Sales and detailed analysis. Managing the pricing process within the Griffith Pricing Applications system and Microsoft Dynamics system with full responsibility for all sales analysis and data entry. Providing ad hoc sales information to internal and external customers. Supports Client RFI, (Request for Information) and RFP's (Request for Price) Prepares and executes mass price updates within urgent periods as needed. Maintains and executes account profitability analysis and price review process as needed using Protocols system and reports. Ensures business activities for meeting contribution margin and gross margin targets, and challenges sales to provide rationale on quotes below company guidelines. Leverages cross functional relationships with Supply Chain and risk management to minimize risk and waste exposure. Responsible for all client related pricing requests, including but not limited to: Price Lists, Line Item Details, and update/maintenance of clients pricing database. Lead training of new analysts and sales leaders Maintain cost records and provide reports on incentives, rebates, royalty, and brokerage fees. Responsible for maintaining and providing corporate reports. Mentor pricing analysts.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field from a four year college or university.
  • Minimum Three years related work experience.
  • Advanced EXCEL usage including but not limited to VLOOKUP, pivot table usage and development, formula development.
