to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office
(PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective
implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the
Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in
support of our Nation's security. We
support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive,
cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and
infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst II supports Department of Energy (DOE) programs
through budgeting, accounting, and program controls. Responsibilities include
supporting HQ budget drills and funding realignments, building cost models and
"what-if" scenarios, and managing monthly invoicing, accruals, and
reconciliations. The role supports baseline and change control processes,
prepares financial materials for reviews and briefings,
and partners with program managers and DOE stakeholders to ensure
accurate, compliant financial execution.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's
Degree
in Business from an accredited university or ten
years of relevant experience
Five years' experience in federal
programs
and projects
or equivalent
Five
years of experience managing complex programs and projects in large, regulated,
or mission-critical environments

Experience
with accounting operations: invoicing, accruals, cost tracking, and
reconciliations
Support
HQ budget drills, funding changes, and Congressional budget actions through
analysis and reporting
Ability to conduct comprehensive resource
management and program scheduling
and execution
Knowledge of project management/project controls to include lifecycle and baseline analysisExperience in coordinating multiple high level project documentation requirements

Experience in developing "what if" scenariosDetailed Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Suite

Experience with database management

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft
Power BI experience

Knowledge
of
financial accounting systems
(for example, STARS,
IPABS, or other Oracle based systems)

Experience in project issue and audit resolution

DOE experience

Federal Government Clearance:

This position
may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may
require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a
background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access
authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations
may be required.
