Work Type:Full Time (80 hours bi-weekly)

Shift:Days, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Weekend and Holiday Rotations)

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.34 - $29.04 / hour

Lee Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Complex Care Center team. This role primarily focuses on wound care while supporting a wide range of clinical services within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About This Position:

At Lee Health, our Complex Care Centers are dedicated to providing specialized, coordinated Transitional care for adults managing multiple or chronic medical conditions. Our Complex Care Center at Lee Memorial Hospital brings together a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced treatments, including infusion therapy, wound care, and provider-based services - all focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.

This unique care model helps reduce hospitalizations, streamline treatment plans, and ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document clinical tasks, including wound care, treatments, and medication administration, under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Assist in collecting and documenting patient health data in accordance with established policies
  • Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective, and efficient patient care
  • Support care coordination for patients with complex and chronic conditions
  • Deliver patient-centered care that reflects sensitivity to age, cultural diversity, and individual needs
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of customer service
What This Position Requires:
  • Education:Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing required.
  • Experience:None required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment.
  • Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. 30-hour IV Course may be required based on specialty.
  • License:Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.
  • Other:Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
