FTE: .001, Shift: Day, Schedule: Per Diem Position Summary The Dietary Ambassador is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences. Responsibilities You will provide outstanding customer service through answering phone calls, internal communications, and patient meal delivery You will assemble, coordinate, and deliver patient meals You will assist patients with appropriate meal selections, considering the patient's diet order, food allergies, and food preferences You will educate patients on dietary restrictions and refer patients who require additional information to the clinical dietitian for follow-up You will perform a variety of routine duties and roles ranging from cold food production, cafe service, catering set-up, dishwashing, and cashiering Requirements High school graduate or equivalent Current Washington State Food Handlers Card Minimum one (1) year previous relevant experience About Capital Medical Center MultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.65 - $31.42 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
