The Operational Excellence & PMO Leader will work closely with the Florence Plant Manager to drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and lead structured project management practices. This role is pivotal in advancing the site from Manufacturing 1.0 to Manufacturing 4.0 by strengthening processes, improving SQDIP performance, and empowering front-line and mid-level leaders through coaching, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Steer Continuous Improvement: Champion the Lean Six Sigma roadmap using tools such as VSM, Kaizen, RCA, standard work, 5S, SMED, TPM, and visual management to foster a culture of ongoing improvement.

Optimize Operations: Partner strategically and collaboratively to enhance throughput, reduce waste, improve quality, and deliver cost-effective solutions.

Coach & Mentor: Help build confidence and capability in Operations Managers and production teams through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement coaching

Drive PMO Excellence: Provide leadership across CAPEX and OPEX projects by implementing clear charters, inclusive governance, shared KPIs, and well-defined RACI structures.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to manage project portfolios with transparency and shared ownership.

Enable Digital Transformation: Support initiatives aligned with Manufacturing 4.0, encouraging adoption through engagement and hands-on support.

Facilitate Performance Reviews: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly review processes that promote alignment, open dialogue, and continuous learning.

Shape Culture: Help build a positive, people-centered environment grounded in safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, Business
  • Several years of experience in manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, or project management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; Green Belt acceptable with progress toward Black Belt.
  • Proven experience leading Kaizens and structured problem-solving initiatives.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Preferred background with OpEx-driven organizations such as Danaher, ITW, Parker Hannifin, or Honeywell.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $91,800.00 and $153,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
