Security Officer - Computer Experience Campus Patrols

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong and approachable presence, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance when appropriate.
• Complete necessary documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required for incident resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
