As a Security Guard - Utility Patrol FT Weekdays in Westwood, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service, responding to situations with professionalism and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence at the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols relevant to the utilities environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
