As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents at a dynamic retail location. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will engage with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
