As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver FT in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving post, and you will play an important role in upholding our values of reliability, agility, teamwork, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and law enforcement as required.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols, especially those related to armed patrol responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
