In this role, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position is both armed and driving, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as you help create a secure environment through teamwork, agility, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain a visible presence to assist in promoting a secure environment within the government facility.
  • Observe, report, and document any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or the public in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing access control protocols.
  • Carry and be prepared to use authorized equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and training.
  • Support law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
  • A valid driver's license with class B and passenger endorsement is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
