What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established procedures to help to deter prohibited items from being brought onsite.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directing them as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols.
• Monitor entry points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervision and/or location personnel regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
