Security Officer - Retail Patrol - Overnight

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in and around the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control measures, monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
• Work closely with location staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed, supporting a positive environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and incidents, following Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
