Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Facility Patrol in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and engaging with the community to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property, including exterior and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the government location to help to deter potential threats or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during incidents on site.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty, adhering to Allied Universal standards and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
