Security Officer - Tech/Media Entry Screening

As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Entry Screening in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and screening individuals as required by site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or personnel to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and site guidelines.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
