Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This role involves armed responsibilities and requires driving as part of routine patrols. You will remain visible throughout the property, interact with customers and staff, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions, provide information, and report concerns.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification required for Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
