As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client location.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
• Remain alert and attentive while monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter potential security-related threats.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
