As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management processes, verifying credentials and directing individuals as needed.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and/or potential threats.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
