About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our Enterprise Data Operations team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and tools that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. You'll gain practical experience working with modern cloud data technologies such as Snowflake and developing enterprise-level data solutions in Python, while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Work with Snowflake to ingest, transform, and manage large datasets.
  • Support the design and implementation of data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and loading (ETL/ELT) large-scale data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile development practices.
  • Support automation of data workflows and contribute to performance tuning efforts.
  • Explore and implement best practices in data engineering and cloud data architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Programming skills in Python
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Local candidates preferred

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
