The Senior I&C Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: Instrumentation and Controls, Telecommunications, Fire Alarm, and Security.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

* Performs the engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional
* Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
* Coordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
* Assist in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the like
* Supports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant
* Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
* Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines' inputs are incorporated
* Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
* Works to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external
* Ability to mentor and train junior staff
* Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

Minimum Required
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
* Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
* Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred
* 6+ years of experience

Preferred
* Prior experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
* Prior experience as a consulting engineer preferred
* Prior experience with Advanced Technology
* Experience working within a team environment
* Experience in the quality control review process
* Experience contributing to continuous improvement processes
