Your Role The Developer & Employee Experience Team serves at the direction of the Sr. Director of Technical Engineering, enabling BSC's journey to the cloud. The Platform Engineer, Experienced, will report to the Sr. Manager of Technical Engineering. In this role you will design, build, and maintain our Internal Developer Platform (BlueStack), enabling operational excellence for Blue Shield of CA, our trading partners, and provider networks. Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Typically Requires 5 or more years of professional experience serving as a technical expert and thought leader in enterprise Platform development, and maintenance Requires hands on experience provisioning and supporting cloud environments in a heavily regulated, DevOps environment Advanced proficiency in shell-scripting, Java, Python, and JavaScript for automation and integration tasks Requires knowledge of Microsoft Azure Prefers current AZ-104 Certification or equivalent knowledge Current RedHat DO-007 and/or DO-417 and/or DO-374 Certification or equivalent knowledge preferred Kubernetes experience strongly desired Additional Cloud Hosting Provider certifications preferred Experience working in an agile development environment is strongly desired Experience working remotely is strongly desired #LI-EB1
