Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $96,600.00/Yr. - USD $160,850.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Providing systems analysis/engineering and comprehensive testing toward the support of Hardware Defined Radio (HDR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems and cryptographic subsystems
  • Supporting NIWC Pacific Tactical Data Link (TDL) project

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
  • Seven (7) years of experience in planning and executing DoD Functional Qualifications Testing (FQT) and troubleshooting of Software Deinfed Radio (SDR) or comparable systems
  • Experience in all phases of military data links; teseting, requirements analysis, definition, design specifications, integration, system installation, and training for complex military systems.
  • Experience in the analysis of SDR functional requirements and test objectives; test planning; tet architecture definition and configuration; test execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience in the preparation and review of technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration and test related documents


Desired Skills

  • Seven (7) years of systems engineering experience in support of Multifunction Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Airborne Martime Fixed (AMF) or similar software defined radio systems
  • Experience in leading analysis of new functional baseline requirements for MIDS JTRS; experience in MIDS JTRS software including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Link 16 waveform, and Operating Environment (OE) software
  • Experience in C++ and Python
  • Experience in the testing of IP-based network testing in lab environments including Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) Waveform

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
