Description and Requirements

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, highly organized, and forward-thinking Global Social Media Content Producer & Production Lead to join Lenovo's global social media team (@Lenovo), based in Morrisville, NC.

This role sits at the intersection of hands-on social-first content production and scaled production leadership, supporting Lenovo's social media storytelling through compelling short-form video content and high-impact global events.

You'll serve as a one-stop shop for filming and editing social content while also leading production through in-house resources and agency support. You'll collaborate closely with creative contractors, internal stakeholders, partners, agencies, and event teams to ensure Lenovo's social presence reflects innovation, quality, and authenticity - across both always-on content and major global moments.

Content Production (Approx. 70%)

This role sits on the production side of Lenovo's global social media team - turning approved content briefs into social-first, on-brand assets.

While peers on the team lead content alignment and platform strategy (including stakeholder engagement, messaging alignment, and brief development), this role is responsible for bringing those briefs to life through efficient, creative, and scalable production - both hands-on and through managed resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary creative producer, filming and editing short-form social content from Lenovo's Morrisville, NC office.
  • Act as production lead for two India-based creative contractors producing animation, motion graphics, and video edits.
  • Manage the end-to-end production process once briefs are approved - translating briefs into actionable deliverables, production schedules, and timelines.
  • Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback on early creative edits and ensure all assets are optimized for global social platforms.
  • Act as a Change Champion for integrating AI into social media production - identifying, testing, and scaling tools that improve efficiency and creative output.
  • Collaborate closely with peers managing content alignment and platform strategy to ensure production feasibility, creative consistency, and timeline alignment.
  • Track content performance post-production and surface actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all deliverables are produced on time, within scope, and to a consistent creative standard.

Tools & Skills

  • Videography: Hands-on experience filming and producing social-first video as a one-stop shop.
  • Editing: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with the ability to independently edit short-form content end-to-end.
  • Project Management: Experience using Monday.com or similar tools to manage production pipelines and workflows.
  • AI & Emerging Tools: Experience using AI-powered creative tools (Adobe Illustrator, Google Veo, Descript, etc.) to accelerate content creation and editing.

Experiential Marketing & Events (Approx. 30%)

Coordinate social media production and onsite content creation for major global events, including:

  • Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - Las Vegas
  • Mobile World Congress (MWC) - Barcelona
  • Lenovo Innovation World - Berlin
  • Lenovo Tech World - Rotating U.S. location

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onsite photo and video agency support for major global and Lenovo-owned events.
  • Support the Social Media Event Coordinator in building social content plans and onsite strategies.
  • Lead social content creation before, during, and after approximately four annual events - including event teasers, product content, and partner collaborations (Intel, AMD, Microsoft).
  • Ensure all content meets partner requirements (logos, badges, approved language, video bumpers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with onsite agencies to produce event recap videos and post-event content summaries.
  • Maintain and evolve the social media event toolkit (templates, best practices, asset libraries).
  • Support livestream setup and execution on social platforms in coordination with production agencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media content production or social media marketing (brand or agency side).
  • Strong hands-on understanding of photo/video production and post-production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to brainstorm new ideas, workflows, and solutions.
  • Passion for leveraging AI and emerging tools to evolve creative workflows.
  • Strong understanding of digital storytelling and platform-specific social content strategies.
  • Skilled project manager with the ability to juggle multiple deliverables across teams, time zones, and fast-paced timelines.
  • Experience working with creative agencies, vendors, or contractors.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and thriving in fast-moving, event-driven environments.
