Summit Credit Union is looking for a creative and driven Software Engineer to join our Business Technology Solutions team! What You'll Do: Develop and deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions for both members and employees. Work across the stack: From backend to frontend, greenfield to legacy systems, you'll do it all. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into engineered solutions. Embrace innovation: Use the latest in cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and AI-powered tools like Copilot. Champion quality: Write modular code, conduct code reviews, and ensure robust testing (unit, integration, UI). Solve problems: Triage and resolve software defects, prioritizing business and member impact. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js (Express), Angular or Vue.js; bonus for Python and Java Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (GitHub) Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and data management tools (Splunk, Cribl) Excellent communication and a collaborative spirit Why Summit?
