The Continuing Education Business Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and reporting for UHS PEP, Inc. This role ensures accurate budgeting, financial reporting, and contract management, while supporting strategic planning and educational outcomes. The position works closely with the Director of Continuing Education and other stakeholders to align financial practices with program goals.
Essential Job Statement Manages the UHS PEP, Inc. budget using Strata Jazz and Workday. Prepares and submits monthly financial reports to the Finance Department. Develops and present financial reports for UHS PEP, Inc. Board Meetings. Tracks and reconciles all accounts payable and receivable. Oversees quarterly debt collection efforts. Manages all Continuing Education service contracts. Conducts environmental scans to evaluate and benchmark service fees. Assists in analyzing educational outcomes, including researching and recommending software tools. Supports the evaluation and yearly data collection. Collaborates with the Program Coordinator on finance-related matters. Partners with the Director of Continuing Education and team on all finance-related tasks, including data analysis and outcome reporting. Patient Population: N/A Employment Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred Education: Master's degree Licensing/ Certification Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred: N/A Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. Experience with budgeting software (e.g., Strata Jazz) and enterprise systems (e.g., Workday) strongly preferred. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge in contract management and vendor relations. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and educational technology is a plus.
