Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Omaha, NE Employment Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire Industry: Information Technology Experience Level: Mid to Sr. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Omaha, NE. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud architecture, automation, and security best practices. Responsibilities: * Architect and implement Azure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. * Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. * Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and reliability. * Ensure compliance with security and governance standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. * Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure. * Strong understanding of Azure services (VMs, Networking, Azure AD, Storage, etc.). * Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and infrastructure automation. * Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and best practices. * Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are highly preferred.
