Overview

The Treasury Accounting Senior Analyst provides analytical, technical, and accounting support to the Funds Management function within Corporate Treasury.

Responsibilities

    Oversee the corporate treasury's reconciliations and journal entries related to wholesale funding, correspondent bank accounts, debt issuances, and investment portfolio.
  • Develop and streamline cash position reporting and other corporate treasury reports for internal monitoring and oversight committees such as ALCO
  • Assist in the execution and ongoing monitoring of wholesale funding trades, including long-term debt, brokered deposits and FHLB advances to ensure sufficient liquidity and cash resources
  • Oversee the corporate treasury-related portions of external reporting including investor presentations and SEC filings
  • Assist with cash management responsibilities, including the daily monitoring of Renasant's cash position
  • Develop cash forecasts and analyze cash flows to determine forward-looking liquidity position and funding needs
  • Participate in meetings with Senior management, Risk management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Agencies, and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of Treasury, Liquidity, or Asset/Liability Management function experience
  • Knowledge of funding and the bank balance sheet management concepts for measuring funding inflows/outflows over time preferred
  • Ability to present to senior level management
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH.
  • Knowledge of data querying and visualization (SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy)
  • Ability to prompt and utilize AI to speed up workflow
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
