Overview

The Vice President, Enterprise Implementation and Operations, will use superior analytical skills and logic to analyze business problems and processes, develop solutions, present recommendations to senior leadership, and then ensure that approved proposals are implemented, and yield promoted value. Develop and implement pharmacy system-specific and trade-specific training materials and ensure they are implemented, maintained, and efficient. This role's scope encompasses driving a variety of benefits for PharMerica including improvements to trade implementations, redesign of pharmacy operations to increase efficiencies, and maintaining process quality. Position reports to the Chief Operating Officer with a dotted line to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsibilities

    Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company
  • Lead implementation of new products and programs associated with our drug launches
  • Lead and support development and implementation of new fee for service data builds associated with new drug launches, applications (Mobile/Texting/etc.) and customer portals
  • Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans
  • Provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding pharmacy operations system, policies, and procedures
  • Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans
  • Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives, and accomplishments
  • Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance
  • Coordinate and manage creation of training programs for all applicable business units/opportunities
  • Manages organizational development (OD) strategies and processes, including the needs of operating, business, and functional units
  • Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet OD needs and program goals
  • Strategize methods for increasing knowledge retention
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or another related field; Advanced degree preferred
  • Three or more years in the pharmacy field with Specialty Pharmacy or IT focus
  • Seven or more years' experience in working in a professional services environment with internal client / stakeholder management, analytical skills, and issue resolution / management
  • Superior analytical skills, quantitative skills, logic, and problem-solving skills
  • Lean/Six Sigma Professional with a solid background desired
  • Licensed as a certified pharmacy technician or related IT certifications
  • RPh or PharmD preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
