Great Hill Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Navy Medicine Records Activity (NMRA), with records processing services. The required services support the release of information, data collection and analysis, tracking tool coordination, training coordination, and project management for the proper retirement of service treatment records (STRs). This is an on-site position in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Oversee project execution by maintaining oversight and administrative control over the project and leading the project team.
  • Ensures that management processes and business systems facilitate meeting performance requirements.
  • Delivers contract deliverables, including weekly, monthly, and other customer status updates.
  • Prepares and delivers progress reports that include work progression, tasks completed, and any other pertinent issues to the customer on time each month.
  • Facilitates weekly status meetings and conducts regular monthly progress review meetings regarding the status of activities under the contract. Each review will provide insight into staffing, progress, and risks.
  • Identifies, manages and mitigates project risks, resulting in proactive contingency planning as required.
  • Accountable for meeting project deadlines.
  • Prepares and leads internal project reviews.
  • Provides presentations to project stakeholders and management on project status, cost, and schedule updates, lessons learned etc.
  • Promotes a good relationship with all customer stakeholders.


Basic Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or a data entry/imaging environment, medical records, or military health records management field.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience working within confidentiality guidelines like HIPAA Privacy Act.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.


Desired Qualifications



  • Basic understanding of patient administration procedures, medical terminology, medical ethics, basic anatomy and physiology, and records scanning is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of imaging quality measurement techniques and processes are also preferred.
