Interstate Power Systems is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Power Generation Equipment and Service Sales Representative to join our team in Billings, Montana. Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Power Generation Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves working independently to generate new business, maintain client relationships, and promote our power generation equipment and service contracts to achieve sales goals. The position covers Montana and Western North Dakota and includes a company-provided cell phone, laptop, vehicle, base salary, and monthly incentives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Promote and sell power generation equipment and service contracts in Montana and Western North Dakota.



  • Secure orders for new equipment and service contracts from both new and existing customers.



  • Identify and develop relationships with new customers to increase market share.



  • Provide technical support and solutions for customers' power generation needs.



  • Build and maintain connections with contractors, engineering firms, and facility managers to promote Interstate Power Systems' offerings.



  • Act as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.




Desired Skills and Qualities


  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.



  • Self-motivated with the ability to create and execute effective business plans.



  • Proven sales experience, ideally in power generation, generators, or heavy-duty equipment.



  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.



  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.




Requirements


  • Minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant outside sales experience.



  • Experience in power generation, generators, distribution, industrial, or heavy-duty equipment is highly preferred.
