The Manufacturing Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring consistent quality of products by supervising inspection processes and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and company quality requirements. This role involves supervising quality control inspectors, handling quality control documentation, and coordinating with other departments to address quality issues.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Conduct quality inspections on products to ensure compliance with ISO company standards 1. Use tools such as calipers to inspect materials and components for defects or deviations from specifications 1. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality tests 1. Supervise and train quality control inspectors 1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards 1. Coordinate with production and engineering departments to address quality issues 1. Represent the company in external audits and ensure accurate state seal on products 1. Coordinate incoming parts inspection and verify accuracy and workmanship throughout the project construction cycle 1.
YOU HAVE:
Degree in a technical or manufacturing-related discipline is helpful. Candidates with meaningful hands-on quality control experience and supervisory responsibilities will be strongly considered. Ideally a minimum of 5 years' proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality control procedures. Ability to lead and train a team of quality control inspectors.
