Job Summary: The Vice President, Duals Products - Market is responsible for developing and executing the organization's short and long-range product goals and objectives. The role oversees program development, financial performance, and market positioning for Duals Product offerings ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, regulatory requirements, and community needs. This role reports directly to the Market President and requires coordination and collaboration between Market and Enterprise resources. Essential Functions:
- Develops and executes short and long-term strategic product objectives to support overall growth and profitability goals specific to Duals Membership in the market. Translates enterprise-wide priorities into Duals Product market specific strategic goals
- Shares responsibility with Market President for P&L and financial performance including accountability for revenue, operating margin, and financial sustainability
- Leads market-level Duals Product innovation efforts and integrates competitive intelligence into long-range planning (3-5 years)
- Develops the Personal Care Services strategy in collaboration with the Market CMO and Enterprise clinical leaders
- Develops innovative product enhancement recommendations for Executive Leadership to improve quality and financial performance, increase membership, and make continuous operational improvements
- Drives cost-containment through the Quality and Affordability Initiative (QAI) function
- Drives solutioning with functional and implementation leads for appropriate prioritization and escalation
- Develops product staffing models to support current and future membership
- Facilitates cross-functional knowledge sharing and best practices within and amongst Market/Product/Finance/Clinical Enterprise support teams
- Monitors external market factors and leverages expertise to build relationships with the market's State and Federal regulators and advocate for policies that strengthen Duals Products
- Incorporates effective change and risk management controls
- Build relationships and collaborate with key market leaders in Clinical Operations, Market Operations, and Network Strategy
- Effectively communicate key product decisions, performance outcomes and strategic plans across the Enterprise
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Finance, Business or health care field, or other related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Ten (10) years of product management, product development, market strategy, or market research insurance experience is required
- Five (5) years of previous management/leadership experience is required
- Familiarity of the healthcare/managed care field and knowledge of government program products is required
- Previous finance and data analytics experience is preferred
- Previous experience working with State and Federal regulators/government in a managed care setting is preferred

- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business
Compensation Range: $150,000 - $300,000. CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
