Job Summary:

The IT Application Engineer Consultant (IMS Systems) will work with the Novanta IT team to assist in the successful deployment of the set of IMS Custom IT applications at the Apex, NC manufacturing site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Code review to refresh on custom apps (Paperless, ShipLog, eOrder, SQL procedures)
• Scoping and prototyping the chosen option (e.g., order-move utility, serial number logic, sync scripts).
• Testing in dev/test environments to validate integrations.
• Documentation of changes and as-built system for future reference.
• Weekly Q&A/check-ins (30-60 min) with Novanta IT team.

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience with IMS Custom Applications
• Infor VisualERP experience
