Job Description

Position Description:



This position will provide analysis on investments in the structured securities asset class to ensure portfolio managers receive accurate information and strong recommendations. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on products including mortgage-backed securities, asset backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations.



Position Location:


This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Cincinnati, OH or Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.



What you do:



  • Provide review, analysis, and recommendations on investments to the portfolio manager and other leaders. Make decisions based on risk/reward, relative value, and performance against a benchmark.
  • Monitor and analyze existing portfolio of investments, relying heavily on a data centric and mathematics centric approach.
  • Maintain research on assigned asset class and asset types.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable investment guidelines, laws, statues, and regulations. Review, follow, and update policies and procedures.
  • Assist in performing special investment and reporting projects as assigned.
  • Utilize tools including Aladdin and Intex for risk modeling and cash flow modeling.
  • Assess and price risk against a given benchmark, to determine risk adjusted value.


What you bring:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science or similar majors desired.
  • 3-5 years related experience required. Previous experience in data analysis, investment analysis, or other related fields required.
  • CFA Charterholder desired.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other similar languages desired.
  • Experience with Intex and Aladdin desired.

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
