The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Insurance Verification Specialist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate insurance qualification of incoming and backlogged orders for our life-saving medical products. You will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders-including sales teams, customer service representatives, physicians, and patients-delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: *Accurately verify and qualify insurance coverage for new and existing patient orders. *Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service) and external customers to resolve order-related issues. *Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. *Work independently and within a collaborative team environment. *Communicate patient financial responsibility when applicable. *Maintain compliance with payer requirements and company policies. *Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. *Support rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. *Manage multiple cases simultaneously with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate Profile: *Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure, constantly evolving environment. *Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to building trust with patients, providers, and payers. *Ability to research, interpret, and apply payer guidelines and clinical documentation to determine patient eligibility. *Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. *Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a hybrid remote work environment. *High level of professionalism and attention to detail. *Willingness to adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures. *Skills* Medical, Research, Healthcare, Claims, customer service *Top Skills Details* Medical, Research, Healthcare, Claims, customer service *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Qualifications: -Highschool Diploma or GED -3 years in insurance authorization or verification or medical billing OR bachelor's degree in healthcare -Strong Soft Skills -Computer skills (specifically in excel) Desired Qualifications: *Experience with Health Insurance claims, billing, or authorization *Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook email Ideal candidate: *Balance multiple competing priorities from demanding customers in an ever-changing environment *Build support and maintain patient, physician, and third-party payer loyalty and to increase the number of orders through enhanced customer service, customer relationship management, and technology utilization *Research and interpret whether a patient qualifies for services-based payer requirements and clinical factors. *Communicate patients' financial responsibility when necessary *Highly disciplined, self-motivated work ethic to work in a hybrid remote work environment. *Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
