Job Title: HEDIS Abstractor - Medical Records & Quality Measures Monday-Friday Day Shift
Fully Onsite Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HEDIS Abstractor to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate patient medical records and supporting clinical quality initiatives through chart abstraction and documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of patient medical records in accordance with company policy and EMR system protocols. * Perform chart abstraction for HEDIS clinical quality measures in ambulatory care settings. * Collaborate with internal staff to support documentation and quality measure initiatives. * Maintain monthly calendars, schedules, and coordinate events. * Meet established deadlines and attend required meetings. * Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, coworkers, and the public. * Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. * Perform related duties and additional responsibilities as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience: 2-3 years of experience in chart abstraction within EMR systems, with a strong understanding of HEDIS clinical quality measures. * Preferred: EPIC EMR experience. * Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer use. * Knowledge Base: Strong familiarity with ambulatory HEDIS measure specifications and chart abstraction processes. * Attributes: Accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to measure specifications are essential. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
