Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates and Licenses: Certificate and training in safe forklift operation are required. Safety: Must attend all required Safety/OSHA training classes. Must adhere to all Safety Rules as posted in employee handbook and in the plant. All employees must adhere to the Amcor "No Injuries Program". Quality: Must be GMP/HACCP/Food Security Trained. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
